My husband is in his 80's and has multiple medical problems. He always uses a bib while eating because of his tremors. His previous bibs all had Velcro taps at the back of his neck. He had a very hard time trying to get his bib closed because of arthritis in his shoulders. With this new bib he can slip the large opening easily over his head and then use the pinch and slide closer in the front to bring it up and around his neck totally covering his clothing all the way up to his chin. He loves the fact that he can do this without assistance. We have used the bib 3 times a day for about a week now and I have not had to wash it yet since it wipes off so easily with a damp cloth after meals. Because of the cost I was hesitant to purchase it at first but I think I will be getting him a second one for Christmas. A great product.Really happy with this product. The ability to adjust the bib in the front rather than the back of the neck makes it so much easier to use.Very nice looking and great coverage.So very easy to use. Cleans easy with just a sponge. She laughed and said she would do that for me, but that I can also actually buy them at medical supply places too.Anyway, I started using an Adult Bib any time I went out to eat, ate in my vehicle, or when eating at home too. They are wonderful for all ages to keep your clothing clean.This particular style Adult Bib is nice where I can easily adjust the neck loop. I like the coverage up higher towards my neck, so I don't get food and crumbs falling into my bra.I do wish this bib was a bit longer, as I am a taller "Miss Piggy" and I also would like a bit of lap coverage too.This is a heavier feeling Bib and seems to be water/liquid proof. It has a quality feel to it.I love how the adjustable neck cord is inside the softer fabric neck sleeve for better comfort.There are snaps on the sides of the Bib, down near the bottom, to convert the bottom of the bib into the crumb catcher.The only color available to me was the Plaid Ombre color, which is a very dark navy, so you really can't see the plaid too well. I'd have preferred a different color/pattern, but regardless, this item works and it works very well, and I am super happy with it.So to all the other "Piggys" out there; young, mid age, or elderly...KEEP YOUR CLOTHING CLEAN and do less laundry!Use a Bib!This bib is large enough to cover the entire torso, the cruise pocket is large and wide which help catch a lot of thw food. This bib is also made of good, soft quality, it's comfortable and it appears durable. The only downside to this design, is that the black nob used to tighten the neck strap does require a little bit of force to adjust, therefore, someone who is very weak would not be able to use it without assistance.Overall this adult bib is very nice and I am very happy with it.My husband has Parkinsons and said this covers him well. Its also easy for him to put on.
