I love these bibs! It’s so hard to find true pure silicone, and I have ordered many popular brands more expensive than this that turned out to be fake. These are pure & affordable. I have 3 & will order more in the future. This bib was great for travel super easy to wipe off. However I do prefer the cloth bibs. The silicone doesn't absorb the liquids so it kind of makes a mess.El material es muy durableIf you have a baby or toddler who's sitting up to eat, you will need a bib. You can also try the guerrilla method, stripping the kid naked and putting a drop cloth covering a wide perimeter beneath the high chair. Barring that extreme method, you will need a good bib.We tried a few for our messy little guy. These initially irritated his neck, and had us switching back to a standard plastic one. However after two or three attempts, he started to like it. More than a year later we all still love it. We've taken to calling the spill area "the moat" and it does its job well. He typically loses 10-15% of his food down there while learning to use his spoon or fork. Occasionally we miss too, or give him too much food for a bite. If he's really hungry he'll go back in there at the end of the meal and eat what he missed earlier. Those are good times, as we're reassured he's getting enough nourishment. He will spill varied quantities of water, milk, or diluted fruit juice down there. Sometimes we need to be careful taking the bib off so as to not spill the contents of the moat. But it's a small price to pay, and actually fun like playing the old game Operation. Anyway I'm rambling on about our kid's habits instead of telling you you should try this bib. So try this bib! It works great for us. You can only hope your little one will enjoy it too. It makes post-meal cleanup much easier than traditional bibs, which saves time you can instead spend with her/him.The only reason I gave it a 4 star review is because the fastener in the back is hard to close. It often catches some of my daughters hair in it also. Other than that I love it. It catches a lot of dropped food. My 6 month old discovered it one day during a meal and was excited about all her findings and a spoon that was saved from the floor.I have a love and hate relationship with this bib. First off I absolutely love how soft and flexible this bib and the vibrant colors and the cute designs make it even better. I love how its not just one button that the neck can be looped through but there are 3 buttons in which I can loop it through in order to avoid my daughter from taking off the bib herself. Now on to why I was 1 star short of 5, this bib would be the perfect bib for going out because of how soft it is, it makes it very easy for me to put it away without having to fiddle for the necessary space for it to fit. However if you plan on using this bib with your highchair there may be a bit of a problem with the flexibility. In most cases for high chairs used at home there is a tray and depending on your high chair tray it may or may not blend the bib into a form where no food will be caught, which is exactly what happens to me. The bib folds inwards where the food cannot be caught and my daughter ends up having all the soup, food, crumbs, etc all over her legs.I don't need to worry about her getting cut from the bib but the softness of the bib causes problems where the bib is ultimately not catching anything that is falling. Given the material of the bib and how much I like it once I took it out of the box I had to give 4 stars. The pocketed bib is completely defeated in the case of the highchair tray but I'm sure when we are out and sitting in restaurant highchairs the bib will be differently seen. So keep in mind if you do end up getting this bib and you're planning on using this at home check you highchair tray first.I went back and forth on bibs as i wanted one that was soft and not stiff or that would not irritate her neck. This is IT!! Its so soft that my baby literally nibbles on it like its a teething toy. The front pocket is wide enough so it easily catches the food. Also the bib is wide on the shoulders that it actually provides full coverage so i dont have to worry about her messing up her clothes while turning her head to look around during feeding time. It doesnt get stained by the food and cleaning it is a breeze as it just washes away the food residue with only water. So glad i purchased this, i would so gift this to someone!I have similar bibs I got from Target. The pocket on those isn’t as deep and the material isn’t as nice. I use this one almost every single time, because it’s just so much better quality than the others.
