This product isn't like any other cleansing conditioner. It is more like a thick cream shampoo. Very gentle on scalp but still need a conditioner after using.I have searched for so long to find a truly fragrance free conditioner (and shampoo) that wouldn't further irritate my eczema. This is the one. I love the conditioner. It leaves my hair soft and shiny, and with the shampoo and firm hold gel, I've been getting compliments on the shine in my hair. My hair has more body and shine than with the very expensive shampoos and conditioners I was using that caused my eczema to worsen. My scalp doesn't react at all to these products. I do have to say - it takes a little getting used to the shampoo, which is sulfate free. I've read other reviews of other sulfate free products, and it does take a few weeks to transition from sulfate shampoos to sulfate free. My hair didn't really stay clean very long at the beginning. And I thought it would be a problem. But a few weeks in, my hair stays clean longer, and my scalp and hair seem to be getting used to this. I read other reviews that said these have a smell to them. I don't smell anything, and i'm super sensitive to fragrances. So for me, this has been a real gift. Thank you so much, FragFre! Please keep making these products.I purchased this product as it states that it is fragrance free. Either I got a rogue scented version, or it really isn't fragrance free at all. I used once and the scent was in my hair for more than 48 hours afterward. Bothered my allergies and I had a whopper of a headache for 3 days. If fragrances don't bother you, it is fine. My hair felt great after using it, but not worth it due to the headaches.I decided to try this after using New Wash and really liking how it made my hair, but I was allergic to something in it and it hurt my scalp. This stuff does as good of a job cleansing and makes my hair just as nice, but doesn’t bother my scalp. It’s also considerably cheaper than New Wash. one thing to note is you do need to shake it to mix it up each time. The first bottle I got, I didn’t do that and it was separated like a can of coconut milk- half was solid, half was runny. So you’ll want to give it a good shake to incorporate. Nice smelling, too- a faint cucumber smell.This says it's a cleansing conditioner, but really only in the sense that it's not quite as drying as regular shampoo. But it IS shampoo, make no mistake. It wasn't too bad when I used my regular conditioner afterward.Also, not completely fragrance free. It does smell like cucumbers, but I will give it extra points because the smell doesn't linger.Great product for girls with eczema who have curly hair! I have 2c/3a low porosity hair and my gf has severe eczema, meaning any product I normally use for my curls is incredibly painful for her. I decided to give this cleansing conditioner a try because I wanted a fragrance free cleanser that wasn't harsh and left my hair feeling stringy or dry. This cleansing conditioner is great, cleans my hair without completely stripping it like regular shampoo.I really like all the Fragfre products I’ve tried. I was hoping this would be as great at removing the tangles as the regular conditioner, but sadly it isn’t. I have really long thin hair so it’s next to impossible to get a comb or brush through it without using the regular conditioner.This product left build up on my scalp. My hair is fine, low density and low porosity curly hair so I purchased. Would be good for straight, fine hair types
